Our Cable Jointers are certified, competent and authorised in all aspects of cable jointing and termination using heat shrink, cold shrink and cold applied products from manufacturers such as Raychem, Tyco, Prysmian, Nexans, Sicame, Pfisterer.
DJPS is authorised to work on several IDNO networks and have vast experience working on Private Networks and assisting ICP’s.
Our extensive knowledge of cable jointing provides us with the necessary experience and confidence to deliver any project from start to finish for any size of company – within timescale and budget.
Upon completion, we can provide DC & VLF testing in addition to SAP services.
Earthing
Earthing is a crucial part of any electrical installation. All DJPS operatives are trained and approved in the use of exothermic weld connections and can also offer standard compression systems. Upon completion, our engineers will test the installation to ensure the correct resistance has been achieved and can also offer soil resistivity testing.
Transformers & Switchgear
DJPS can provide a full installation package to meet your power demands. This includes selection and acquisition of transformers and switchgear, installation by our skilled fitters and commissioning upon completion. We have an extensive knowledge of a variety of types of switchgear including oil, sf6, vacuum and ACB’s. We also offer maintenance and repair services to ensure your system is safe and reliable. If you are replacing or removing HV plant and equipment, we can safely decommission and dispose of the equipment.
SAP Duties
DJPS can provide Senior Authorised Persons (SAP) to take control of HV and LV networks on behalf of the client, or to manage any routine or non-routine outages.
Our SAP’s can safely operate a wide variety of switchgear. We offer high voltage fault location and a variety of testing and commissioning.
Maintenance
Maintaining the reliability and function of your low and high voltage network is vital, which is why DJPS provide dedicated and comprehensive maintenance. We offer maintenance of transformers, switchgear, circuit breakers, LV panels, tripping circuits and other electrical components. Each maintenance package is tailored to the client’s requirements. We also offer 24-hour callout to ensure you stay up and running.
